Features
- Truly editable objects——Titles, body text, basic shapes, and data-based charts are native PowerPoint objects, not flattened screenshots. Decorative illustrations stay in the background where they belong.
- Numbers stay traceable——Source figures are preserved with their locations; charts are built only from data you supplied. Missing market sizes, testimonials, or prices are marked to-be-confirmed, never invented.
- Notes on every slide——Every slide ships with short talking points plus source locations and caveats, so you can walk into the meeting knowing exactly what to say.
- Independent, not official——An independent workflow that starts from your brief or file and delivers a file. No Tome login, no account migration, no recovery promises it cannot keep.
How it works
- State your topic and audience Say what the deck is about and who it is for. Attach a PDF, Word file, or old PPT if you have one, plus an optional logo or style reference, and note what to keep or change.
- Pick goal, length, and style Briefing for status updates, pitch for new ideas, proposal for clients; then 6, 10, or 15 slides in a clean, dark, or editorial style. Three choices, each visibly changes the deck.
- Download the PPTX, keep editing Receive a real 16:9 .pptx with speaker notes on every slide. Present it, edit it in PowerPoint, or ask Loomi to shorten, restyle, or update any section.
FAQ
- Is Loomi affiliated with Tome?
- No. Loomi is an independent Tome alternative and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Tome App, tomeapp.ai, or any other product named Tome. Your brief stays between you and Loomi, and nothing here logs into a Tome account.
- Can I start with just one sentence?
- Yes. A single sentence describing your topic and audience is enough to start: pick a goal, slide count, and visual style, and Loomi drafts a complete deck with speaker notes. If your request depends on a document you have not uploaded yet, it will ask for the file first instead of guessing.
- Can I turn a PDF or Word doc into slides?
- Yes. Upload a PDF, Word, TXT, or Markdown file and Loomi reads it, extracts the facts and figures, and rebuilds them as briefing slides with traceable numbers. Scanned PDFs are read with OCR, so please double-check critical figures before presenting.
- Can you redesign my ugly old deck?
- Yes. Upload the PPTX or an exported PDF and describe what to keep: Loomi reunifies the design, splits crowded pages, and preserves key facts, numbers, and conclusions. A highly complex diagram may remain a raster image, and that will be disclosed rather than passed off as editable.
- Can I edit the slides and export a real PPTX?
- Yes. After generating, you download a real 16:9 .pptx with native editable titles, text, shapes, and data charts, plus speaker notes on every slide. Open it in PowerPoint and keep editing, or ask Loomi to revise a section in natural language.
- Can you restore files from my old Tome account?
- No. Loomi cannot access, migrate, or recover files from any Tome account, old or current. If you have an exportable file or readable screenshots of your old slides, upload them and Loomi will rebuild the deck from what you provide.
