Features
- One-click full fix——Just upload. AI diagnoses noise, blur, exposure and faces, then runs the full fix in order.
- Night denoise——Heavy grain and color noise from night shots removed, shadows lifted without blowing highlights.
- Unblur & sharpen——Handshake shake and missed focus handled separately; eyes, lashes, hair and text first.
- Face recovery——Soft and tiny faces rebuilt recognizably, conservatively dosed — never waxy or plastic.
- Upscale to 4x——2x for social, 4x for posters; small text and repeating textures checked against warping.
- True to original——Same people, same framing as your photo. If it's mush beyond saving, we say so — no invented detail.

FAQ
- Is Topaz free? Where is the crack download?
- Topaz has no permanently free version — only a 30-day trial, then a paid plan (Personal from $199/year, check the official site). So-called crack links mostly carry malware, crash, can't update, and risk infringement for commercial use. To skip the hassle, enhance online here: no install, pay per use, upload and done.
- Can one blurry photo really become HD?
- Depends how bad it is. Mild-to-medium blur, low resolution and high-ISO noise recover very well — plenty for print and social. But frames reduced to mush or severe misfocus can only be guessed at, and fakes show under magnification. In those cases we tell you how far it can go instead of faking a crisp result.
- Why do restored faces look fake and plastic?
- Ninety percent of plastic skin comes from face recovery set too high plus maxed denoise and sharpening. This page defaults to the conservative side: higher strength only for tiny distant faces, lower for close-ups, pores and texture preserved, rolled back at the first sign of waxiness. Add “keep pores, no smoothing” in the box for an even more natural finish.
- Photo AI or Gigapixel for portraits?
- For everyday portraits think Photo AI (auto enhance, night denoise, face recovery): denoise, sharpen and faces in one pass with more natural skin. Think Gigapixel (upscale) only past 2x, for prints, posters and big groups: strongest detail generation, but small faces warp easily. This page covers both — pick the face goal for portraits, 4x output for big prints.
- Can you tell a 4x upscale was Topaz?
- Light fixes are nearly invisible; heavy upscales still show at 100%–400%: waxy skin, noodle hair, oil-painting foliage, warped small text, white halos. To check, zoom into hair, skin and text, then inspect EXIF for Topaz tags. Fine for everyday posting — just don't present it as an untouched original.
- Can blurry CCTV really become HD?
- It can look much clearer, but don't take it literally: AI hallucinates plausible detail rather than restoring truth. A face of a dozen pixels or a smeared plate will most likely come back as a convincing fake — never court evidence. Feel free to test a frame here, but keep the original footage and call professionals for forensics.
- Do I need to download or install anything?
- No. Topaz desktop wants Windows or Mac with a strong GPU and crawls on thin laptops. Here you open the page and upload — it works in a mobile browser too. Download the finished HD file; nothing lives on your machine.
- Can phone screenshots be enhanced?
- Yes — JPG, PNG, WebP and screenshots are all accepted. But the better the source (originals or RAW), the higher the ceiling; repeatedly compressed screenshots or mushy frames only get a visual lift. Video enhancement is out of scope here and gets its own page later.
