FAQ
- Can one phone photo make a double panel poster?
- Yes — that is the default use. The only required upload is one photo: JPG, PNG or WebP under 10MB. A casual travel shot, portrait, street scene or pet pic works; sharper originals give richer redrawn detail, but ordinary phone photos are plenty.
- Can I change the 50/50 split?
- No. The two halves are always locked at 50/50 with one straight horizontal seam — that locked split is the signature look the viral posts established. What you can change is the bottom-half style, the palette and the title.
- Can I switch to a halftone poster style?
- Anytime, four choices: thorn-line raster (the signature default), retro halftone, pencil sketch and single-weight ink outline, plus three palettes. Switching styles on the same photo gives you a brand-new poster.
- Can the title be Chinese instead of English?
- English short titles are the default because long Chinese characters on posters are the easiest thing to misspell. If you explicitly ask for a short Chinese phrase, like a shop name plus a date, the agent double-checks every character before delivering.
- How is this different from Rasterbator tiling?
- They are different things. Rasterbator-style tools split one image into multi-page PDFs that you print on A4 and tile across a wall. This tool turns one photo into one finished 3:4 double-panel poster you post straight to social or send to a print shop. Want a pasted wall? Use Rasterbator. Want the viral look? Stay here.
- Is it free? Is there a watermark?
- Sign in to Loomi and try it — the finished poster exports clean with no blocking watermark. A complex poster costs about 20 credits, and new users get free credits to start.
- How large can I print it?
- The output is a vertical 3:4 poster sized for phones — post it to X, IG or Xiaohongshu with no cropping. For walls, send it to a print shop at A3 or A2; the halftone grain holds up in print.
