FAQ
- Can one photo become a 3D terrain map?
- Yes. Upload a route or boundary screenshot and the diorama follows it; or just type the place name and the agent verifies real geography first. Either way it is a stylized AI render, not survey-grade mapping.
- Is it free? Any download needed?
- Try it free right in your browser — nothing to download, phone or desktop both work. Name a place, pick a style, and get your map in about five minutes.
- Can I export STL for 3D printing?
- No — this tool delivers images only, no STL, heightmap or print files. For printable models use real-elevation tools like MapsTo3D or 3d-map-generator.com.
- How is it different from survey maps?
- Three differences: AI interpretation instead of measured DEM data, artistically exaggerated relief, and no good for navigation, hiking guidance or engineering. Pretty — but don't climb with it.
- What if a place label is wrong?
- We label big and few — only the 2 to 5 names we are most sure of — and ask you to proofread on delivery. Wrong labels get redrawn free; or pick No labels for a clean scene.
- Do small foreign places work too?
- Provinces, cities, counties and landmarks worldwide all work, the Alps and Mt. Fuji included. For small non-English names, paste the native spelling so labels stay correct.
