FAQ
- Is the clay figure just an image? Can I print it?
- Just an image — no printing. You get a share-ready 3:4 portrait (JPG/PNG) with no STL, OBJ or 3MF model files, so slicer software can't print it. For a physical figurine, order handmade custom or remodel it separately.
- Can one front photo make a clay figure look like me?
- Yes, but only the front view is guaranteed. Use a clear, evenly lit, unfiltered front photo, pick the big-head simplified style, and likeness focuses on silhouette plus signature features like hair and glasses.
- Do clay figures get weird fingers or glasses?
- Likeness first, texture second, spot-fix last: keep hand poses simple with full glasses frames in shot. If fingers or frames warp, repaint just that area instead of redoing the whole face.
- Can a couple photo become clay figures together?
- Yes. Upload two photos for the couple style — no collage needed. The agent frames both people together and preserves each person's hairstyle and outfit.
- Will my uploaded photos be made public?
- No. Your photos are only used for this one generation and never shared publicly. And if the photo shows a friend, get their OK before turning them into a meme.
- How much does one clay figure cost?
- Loomi charges per generation — one clay figure costs about 20 credits. Uploading and picking styles is free; credits are only spent when you hit generate.
- Can my clay figure become a video?
- Not yet — this tool outputs a single 3:4 still image, no animation and no 3D model. To make it move, send the finished image to Loomi's image-to-video and ask for a short clip.
