FAQ
- Can I change hair color with just one selfie?
- Yes — one is enough. Face the camera in good light with all of your hair uncovered (no hats or hands over it) for the best result. Not happy? Upload a different selfie and go again.
- Will the hairline look fake after changing?
- No. The tool repaints the hair only, feathering the hairline so there is no halo or hard mask edge. Face, hairstyle and background stay put — the real try-ons above show it: no helmet edge, no color bleeding onto skin or clothes.
- What do highlights and ombre mean?
- Solid means one even shade head-wide. Highlights keep your base color and add lighter face-framing streaks. Ombre goes deeper at the roots and melts into lighter ends. Pick any of the three in step two.
- Does it work on short hair and men?
- Yes. Short crops get dedicated segmentation with crisp hairlines and no bleeding, so chestnut, blue black or natural black all behave. One of the try-ons above is a short-haired man.
- Can I show the preview to my stylist?
- That is exactly what it is for. Best move: build a 4-shade comparison grid with your shortlist side by side. Your stylist will get it at a glance — far more precise than saying “a bit lighter”.
- Will my photo be stored anywhere?
- Your selfie is used only for this recolor and never published or repurposed. The finished preview is yours to keep, share or delete.
- Is it free? Do I need an app?
- It runs right in the browser — no app download. You see the try-on result first; exact quotas and HD downloads follow whatever this page tells you at generation time.
