Features
- Reads your files——Upload a proposal, JD, resume or screenshot and your real details show up inside the questions: names, projects, duties. No template taste.
- Full guide, not a list——Opening script, 3–5 question modules, follow-up branches per question, time table — ethics script for research, scoring rubric for hiring.
- Neutral and compliant——Academic questions stay neutral with zero leading; hiring questions stay compliant and bias-free. Sensitive topics get roundabout phrasing.
- One sentence runs——No files? It still runs, with assumptions stated up front. A single JD screenshot works too, with OCR fallback.
How it works
- State topic, attach files Write one sentence on topic plus interviewee. Attach a proposal, JD or screenshot if you have one — one sentence alone works too.
- Pick setup and depth 6 scenarios × 5 interviewee types × 3 depths: academic, consulting, hiring and discovery each get their own logic and wording.
- Take the print-ready doc An editable .docx with opening, questions, follow-ups, ethics or scoring section and time plan — print it and start asking.
FAQ
- Can I generate from just a JD screenshot?
- Yes. Screenshots go through the image slot: we OCR the JD text and tailor technical plus behavioral questions to the role. If anything is too blurry to read, we say so, ship a solid generic edition first, and tell you the 3 details that would sharpen a re-run.
- Can this qualitative interview guide pass my advisor?
- Yes — it is written to academic standards: neutral, progressive questions mapped to your research-question numbers, zero leading questions, plus a read-aloud informed-consent script. Skim it once against your proposal before submitting; swap any bracketed guesses with your real details.
- How do I keep the guide from sounding AI-written?
- Feed it specifics: at least 3 proper nouns from your world (company, project, dataset, duty). Questions are forced to include them. With no files at all, the guide states its assumptions up front so nothing reads as made-up filler.
- Is one sentence really enough input?
- Yes. The description box is required for exactly this reason: one sentence on topic plus interviewee is enough. The guide is built from general plus public knowledge with assumptions stated — upload files later for a sharper second edition.
- Are my uploaded JDs and resumes retained?
- Your files are only used to generate this guide — we never repeat ID numbers or phone numbers, and anything sensitive should stay out of uploads. Delete the files after generating; nothing is kept for other purposes.
- Does the hiring question kit include scoring?
- Yes. Hiring editions always include per-question good-vs-weak answer markers plus time splits, in compliant, bias-free wording — never touching marital status, age or origin.
- Can it prompt follow-ups live mid-interview?
- Honestly: this delivery is the pre-interview document plus its follow-up trees — there is no live in-call prompting. The branches already cover clarify, dig-deeper, compare, hypothesize and challenge, so silence rarely strands you.
