Features
- Whole manuscript in——Word, PDF, LaTeX or a photo of printed pages — read cover to cover: body, captions, then references. No pasting paragraphs.
- Done in minutes——Human services charge per word and take 8+ days. Upload and go — full package in minutes, even the night before deadline.
- Numbers stay frozen——Sample size, p-values, figure numbers checked one by one. Anything off is flagged for you; references are never invented.
- Native-level rewrite——Sense-for-sense translation, long sentences split, connectors restored — past tense for Methods and Results, present for Discussion.
How it works
- Upload your manuscript Drag in .docx, PDF or LaTeX. Only have printouts? Snap photos — every page is transcribed, no typing needed.
- Pick task, level, depth Pick translation or polishing, a top-journal, standard SCI or thesis tone, and an editing depth from light to deep rewrite.
- Download the .docx package Revised draft with tracked changes, a change log and a terminology table in one go. Re-check the numbers, then disclose AI use per journal policy.
FAQ
- Is it free? What does it cost?
- Loomi charges credits per run, and your first run is free. A short manuscript finishes in minutes; compare that with human services that charge per word and take 8+ days. A heavy full-length rewrite costs about 30 credits, shown clearly before you run.
- I only have a Chinese draft. Can it translate directly?
- Yes — that is the core job. Upload your Chinese Word or PDF, pick Full ZH-to-EN plus a target level (top journal / standard SCI / thesis), and get back an English .docx with tracked changes. Word-for-word becomes sense-for-sense, long sentences are split, terminology unified.
- Can a photo of my paper really be translated?
- Yes. Photograph printed pages straight and fully, upload them, and the Agent transcribes every page first (formulas, captions, citation numbers included), marking anything illegible for you to fill in before translating and polishing. For full papers, shoot in sections or convert to PDF for best accuracy.
- Will journals flag AI-polished papers?
- What journals check for is concealment. Elsevier and Springer Nature require honest disclosure of AI use. Loomi reminds you to disclose per your target journal policy and points you to the policy pages — compliant polishing only, no tutorials for evading detection, ever.
- How do I check references are real?
- Polishing only normalizes reference formatting and never adds citations. Verify every entry yourself afterwards: English titles via Google Scholar, Crossref, DOI.org or PubMed (title plus DOI), Chinese ones via CNKI. Anything with a dead DOI or no record gets flagged red for review.
- Will it change my data?
- Never. Sample sizes, p-values, figure numbers and claim strength stay frozen, then get checked against the source one by one. If the source has an over-claim risk (say, suggest drifting toward prove), it is flagged in the change log for you to decide — never silently rewritten.
- Can you guarantee acceptance?
- No — and no honest tool can. Language only clears the language bar of a desk rejection; acceptance depends on the science. We also offer no editing certificate, no plagiarism guarantee, no AI-detector evasion — stating that here is exactly why you can trust us.
- What about 12,000-word manuscripts or LaTeX?
- Long manuscripts are handled chapter by chapter: one terminology table is locked for the whole paper first, then each chapter is translated and polished, then unified end to end. LaTeX manuscripts can be read and translated with .docx delivery; tex write-back is supported on request as best effort.
