FAQ
- Can I make a sitting on earth video from just one selfie?
- Yes. One clear front-facing selfie is enough — the AI completes the body and the scene automatically. Full-body photos succeed most often; side profiles, sunglasses or blurry shots tend to glitch, so retake one if needed.
- How do I make my sitting on earth video look realistic?
- Check three things: the person truly seated on the planet curve, matching light direction on person and planet, and a locked contact point. Our templates handle all three — plus wear something contrasting against deep-blue Earth and glitches basically disappear.
- CapCut template or AI tool — which effect is better?
- CapCut templates are free and instant but lock you into fixed poses. To switch between dangling, pillow and knees-hug poses, or day, night and sunset Earth looks, AI generation fits better — no app download, right here on this page.
- Are those sitting on earth videos real or AI-generated?
- Almost all of them are AI-generated — no human can sit in space unprotected. To spot one: zoom into hair edges for flicker, compare light direction on person vs planet, and count the fingers and toes.
- Is there a free sitting on earth effect app for my phone?
- Yes — CapCut and its Chinese twin CapCut-style apps ship free templates of the same effect, great for a first taste. For more poses and Earth looks, generate directly on this page in your mobile browser.
- How long is the video, and what ratio?
- About 5 seconds, 9:16 vertical — made for TikTok, Reels and group chats. Landscape and longer cuts are not supported yet.
