Features
- Three fear levels——Mild startle, real fear, over-the-top horror: use Mild on elders, Real fear on your best friend, max it out for Halloween. Different levels produce completely different clips.
- Scream & heartbeat SFX——A sharp gasp landing exactly on the recoil, layered with a quickened heartbeat. Pick Silent when you want to dub your own sound in editing.
- Locked camera, edit-ready——Background and framing stay frozen — only the person moves. Drop a silent cutaway straight onto your prank timeline.
- One selfie is enough——One frontal photo is enough. No filming, no app install — upload in your mobile browser and get a clip in under a minute.

FAQ
- Can I make a scared face video from one selfie?
- Yes — one frontal photo is all it takes. Pick one with even frontal light, a clear unblocked face, and the face centered. A neutral expression works fastest; a smiling photo works too, it just spends the first second fading out of the smile.
- Is it free to try?
- You can try it free: open the page, upload a photo, and generate your first clip without adding a card. Heavier use costs credits, but one prank on your friends costs nothing to test.
- How is this different from the TikTok filter?
- TikTok's built-in filters deform your live face in real time — fun, but obviously a filter. Ours generates from a still photo: a cinematic fear reaction with the three fear details (inner brows, recoil, hands), adjustable intensity, and an optional silent cutaway version for your own edits.
- How do I make it look real, not glitchy?
- Start with the source photo: frontal light, face centered, no glasses or mask, neutral expression. Then pick “Real fear”, not a vague prompt — the generator needs inner brows, body recoil, and an off-camera eyeline to read as fear instead of surprise.
- Why does mine look surprised instead of scared?
- It's missing the fear details: inner eyebrows not raised, body not recoiling. That reads as “surprised”, not “scared”. Switch to the Real fear level and regenerate — that mode spells out all three fear moves explicitly.
- Can I use a child's photo?
- We don't recommend it. A clip of a real child in apparent fear travels fast without context and scares more than it amuses. For family fun, use the Mild startle level on adults, or pick a laughing-style effect for kids instead.
- Does it work on my phone with no download?
- Yes — it runs in your mobile browser, nothing to install. Upload a photo, pick a preset, generate, and share the vertical clip straight to the group chat or TikTok.
